OMG HOLY CRAP, DOCTOR, WTF.
How completely AWESOME was this episode?
CAN I FORM COHERENT SENTENCES RIGHT NOW? PROBABLY NOT. BUT I'LL TRY ANYWAYS.
Starting at the end, what the hell TEN, TIMELORD VICTORIOUS? We all know Ten sometimes has a God complex but this was weird and frankly kind of scary. I've never seen Ten like this, like he really could RULE the universe. He really thought he could save the important people? What happened to the little people, Ten? Something just switched on (or off?) in his brain and he was like MUWAHAHA I AM TIMELORD, the only one and I DICTATE EVERYTHING IN TIME. I swear I saw some MASTER!CRAZY in there.
And then she shot herself and everything happened anyway. And OOD Sigma appeared as the OOD OF TENS IMPENDING DEATH! What what. He's dying and he knows it. And where is he going at the end of the episode? TO ROSE Y/Y?
In other news I nearly cried when his DOOMSDAY line was just there and then suddenly Ten got all YES, I AM GOD, I CAN DO WHATEVER. I need to rewatch this episode asap.
And the story in itself was really good as well. But we just got to see Ten in a completely different way, and this is obviously what David Tennant meant, but I just couldn't believe that was really him. He really needs someone to keep him down to earth and not be this VICTORIOUS TIMELORD. Because that was kind of ridiculous, Ten. I'm glad you kind of got back to your senses when Adelaide killed herself and you realised that you were being too God-like and this is not good.
I also got really excited whenever the orange space suit made an appearance, because I just watched the Impossible Planet and the Satan Pit today, just to get into it all and that was the suit in which he and Rose had that amazing hug. And it's exactly the same. LOVE. And that's why it hurt even more when the DOOMSDAY line came out of nowhere, I wasn't prepared for that.
David's hair was epic this episode.
And the preview got me even more excited than this episode! JOHN SIMM, blonde and hooded. We ofcourse already knew that, but HELLO. And WILF and DONNA. He's telling Wilf he's dying and Donna is just there I dont know what she's doing, but she's obviously being awesome whatever she's doing. AND THE MASTER, laughing like the loveable psychopath that he is. And the skull? What does that mean? Is he dead? Electrocuted? Aaaah, I can't wait for this to air.
