Just got back from seeing Shaun of the Dead. Good film, would certainly recommend it, although for fans of Spaced it may not be the gag-a-minute fest they expect. Van Helsing had great effects (and Kate Beckinsale's butt in tight leggings!!) but the dialog was straight from Hercules or Zena. Shaun was definately a good film, I have yet to experience Van Helsing.

Anna really enjoyed van Helsing, I tried not to find it silly, but did find it a bit low-brow in places. I think Troy will be equally mindless.

Saw the DVD cartoon pro-logue thingy, 30mins of hack and thrust and no real plot...Kinda interesting twist on Jeckle & Hyde, but not realy very plausable.

Heard an interesting Steve Wright interview a while back when Underworld was released with Kate Beckinsale, where she claimed Underworld was all baout her bum and Van Helsing was all about her breasts...Any comment ???

So how many people did you recognise in Shaun then ???

Interesting, van Helsing is more or less 2 hours of hack and thrust (thhhhhhhrust!!!!) with no real plot. There was certainly more breastage that butt in the film, it depends whether you like flouncy covers. Would you prefer your duvet cover to be flowery in blue and white or tight, black and shiny? ;-)

I recognised Preacher but only because I knew he was there. Anyone else I should know about? Several of tham looked like Nick but I think that was just a co-incidence!!

Mmmm Black and shiny.....I'm not sure about Duvet covers being either, although maybe black and shiny satin could work.

Haven't seen it yet, but i got told that they did a 'judge dredd' and grabbed a whole load of london alternatives, so who knowes !
