Hmmm there must be something about a sunny bank holiday. I guess we all expected rain so didn't plan exciting stuff in the sun.

Besides the bank holiday is a day for lounging. I am sure it is traditional unwind on monday and to be ready for doing stuff the following day, when it all get ruined by going to work.

Well, I ended up painting a kitchen wall. The wall with all the units and the rail on. Masking tape everywhere. Managed to avoid splashing paint all over my nice new units, but did manage to trample paint into the living room carpet. D'oh. Fortunately I know the trick for getting paint out of carpet, sandpaper!! :-) Looks better but the fitter must have used a treble B pencil when marking out the wall, I can still see his lines under the paint! Grrr....

Pencil probably floated up in the paint. Second coat will cover it. Maybe ;)
