Goodbye 2007 (post to follow) -- I welcome 2008, whatever it may bring. I am on the cusp of either getting a job I deserve (which I have fought for & agonized over) OR taking my services and desire for growth elsewhere. Regardless, my fulfillment has not and will not come from my work. It is here, today, in this moment, in this time

This is WONDERFUL and I cannot help but respond even in my current woozy state. I do love New Years because it brings all of our goals into focus and we can dwell on them, even if it's just for the day. All of your "resolutions" (or, rather, commitments to yourself) are perfect and are things that can be obtained. YES YOU CAN DO IT!!! YOU CAN DO IT ALL!!!! And it's wonderfully refreshing to hear you talk about putting your worth in the moment - and not in things past or present or things that you hope may come. You are an amazing person doing amazing things in the HERE AND NOW. That is where you can find your happines, or at least a part of your happiness. IT DOES NOT MATTER if you do or don't get the job, save the money, pay the bill, save the child, etc. You are growing as a person and each year you're getting better. Better at saving, planning, creating, playing, moving, living, loving, BEING. 2008 is going to rock. I can feel it.
