Writer's Block: Under Protest

It was my own personal protest, and I still follow it today.

I boycotted everything Tommy Hilfiger. I was never really impressed with the designer to begin with, but when I had heard that he had said that if he had know so many "blacks" would wear his clothes, he wouldn't have released them. Unfortunately, it's a famous myth. Tommy Hilfiger never said it. Every now and then that myth rears its head. He's been on the Oprah Show (Where he supposedly said it) and Oprah said that Hilfiger had never been on the show before and had never said it.

well, as i said, i was in 9th grade (i'm a college graduate now), I didn't have access to the internet as I do now. I now take everything in with a grain of salt, but seeing as I'm not really impressed with Hilfiger to begin with, I haven't really looked into it lately. But thanks for the info.
