Reading The Da Vinci Code, the second half already, so exciting.

Did logos on Friday during the course. I realize that Thursday is the only working day in the week when I have a free evening.

Went to Ikea and other shops to buy some curtains and a small orange-like tree.

My Desktop Publishing course started yesterday. We study Adobe Illustrator now. I brought at least 4 thick books home, some on Print and Typography, some on the software. Fortunately we don't have to bring them to the class again. There are 8 participants in the group and only one man, an unemployed photographer.

I am dreaming of a big green field with summer flowers and a kite in the sky... That's my happy place! Or, some time ago when I was relaxing I imagined a bridge over a loud spring and a tree with pink flowers that I recognised as sakura.

My 20'' iMac has arrived and so I spent the last days installing the software, making the printer work from a connected PC and learning a lot about font management and terminal commands. I have never worked on a Mac before, but now I am so glad that I have it. It is something different and something special ( Read more... )

The info evening was OK, so I have signed in for the course!! During the presentation I had the feeling I was at the uni again. I wonder if there is going to be homework... One has to exercise 4 hours a week anyway.

Going to an information evening about the Desktop Publishing course tonight. If I leave satisfied, I'll start it in March.

Spent the evening playing with Jenga blocks yesterday.
