I would Like: I attempted to write a story a while back in which Neal held a gun on a man and Peter was having trouble talking Neal down. Sadly, the plot ran out of gas and refused to restart. Initially the story was to be about Neal confronting someone who had done some very bad things to him but that's about as far as I had gotten. I couldn't decide whether it was because of what the guy did to Neal in the past or something he did to Neal in the present, but which ever way you would like to run is fine. A Neal at his wits end, angry and scared and out of it. Very concerned Peter.
I Don't Want: For the person Neal is holding the gun on to have done something to someone Neal cared about. Peter to be gruff and angry with Neal for almost shooting someone. For things to be left hanging and Peter left worrying that Neal might go off on someone else. For whatever the man did to be sexual.
I've totally tried to write this exact story as well, think I have 5k so far -- I may well try and restart it once I've cleared a few other promised stories ;)
