You left the prompt "near miss" in one of the past prompting rounds, so I decided to write you something based off that. :D

It never should have happened. Henderson was supposed to be nonviolent. None of them had any idea the guy had a gun, or that he was desperate enough to take a shot at Neal.
Peter was already in motion as soon as he saw the gun, but he was too far away, even as he pulled out his gun and shoppers at the neighboring boutiques shrieked and scattered in terror. Henderson got off one shot. Neal gasped and went down, and no less than four FBI agents piled onto Henderson.
Peter, after one quick glance to make sure Henderson had been disarmed and was being cuffed (which he was, with extreme prejudice) went straight for Neal.
Neal, who was had rolled onto his back and was staring up at the sky. Peter had one horrendous moment before he saw Neal blink slowly. He's alive. Thank God. "Don't move," he ordered harshly as he began to pat Neal down with hands that shook slightly

This is a recipe I came across online ages ago, but have never actually tried yet, so can't say how good the results are.
3 ingredient muffins
Ingredients: 2 bananas 4 eggs Raspberries
Oven: 375F / Gas Mark 5 / 190C
Instructions: Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl with a fork (until yellow with brown spots). If you use less ripe bananas, may need to add sweetener or sugar.
Add the eggs and combine.
Grease a muffin tray.
Add raspberries to the bottom of each tray compartment.
Spoon mixture into tray.
Tap tray to get rid of air bubbles.
Put into preheated oven for about 12 minutes.
Allow to cool before removing and devouring!
You can, of course, use any fruit you like instead of the raspberries, or could play with various spices perhaps. And if you have any gluten-free friends, then this is perfect!
A sweet dish which is very popular in winter called Gajar ka Halwa 1 kg carrots 1 1/2 litre milk 8 green cardamoms 5-7 Tbsp ghee/clarrified butter 5-7 Tbsp sugar 2 Tbsp raisins 1 Tbsp shredded almonds 2 Tbsp chopped dates
Peel and grate the carrots. Simmer in milk with the cardamom until liquid evaporates. Heat ghee in a heavy pan and add the carrot mixture. Cook over a gentle flame for 10-15 minutes. Stir in sugar and continue cooking until the halwa turns deep reddish color. Stir in dried fruit and serve.

He corrupted Peter, and it was more than just a card trick.
