"Because there are alarms, and guards, and how have you gone this long as an insurance investigator without getting arrested?"

"I've been arrested," Sara says cheerfully.

Elizabeth sighs heavily. "Of course you have."

"I stand by my idea. We smash the glass, take the stone, and run like hell."

"That's a recipe for disaster, and you are a terrible thief."

"I've never stolen a thing in my life."

"And how do you do your job, exactly?"

"Repossession. It isn't stealing if it's not theirs to begin with
