I was once told by an old boyfriend I lived with that he thought I was "the nicest person in the world if you took out the first half hour I wake up" and that he thought I bottled up all my anger for those thirty minutes. I think the boy may be right. Luckily now no one in my apartment is awake when I first wake up,and throw shoes against walls when I can't find the matching shoe.
I had a friend like that, who loved mornings but we were forbidden to talk to her until she was done enjoying it. Took me a while to figure that one out!
Did you try it yet? Didya? Didya? (she says pretending her slow responding time in this post is because she was giving you lots of sunrises to try it out on, and not that she just hasn't logged into LJ in a month and had no idea anyone responded!)
Oh GOD how awesome it must be to have a roof you can climb up on! Especially with that skyline. This was a great thing to see. Sunrises are things that occur while I'm on a bus, usually, and sunsets too. They help me get through my commute.
1. It's big enough for badmitten...net set and all AND 2. Projectors work on the one wall (that little house) granted you'll be looking at the movie with a background of graphitti but still SO AWESOME!
That totally makes up for the fact my parents thing my warehouse home looks like a crack house and refuse to go inside of it. (Good thing since I'd have to put away all of my crack!)
Hope you get nice window sets on your sunrise bus!
That last photo you posted of you standing on the roof with the skyline in the background is, quite possibly, the coolest photo I've ever seen. Awesome.
Now that it's getting light later and I start work at 8 a.m., I've been starting to run before sunrise. I was real unenthusiastic about it at first, but I'm finding it to be amazingly beautiful.

Well shucks...I'm pretty darn proud of it too...still bitter I don't own a cape though.

I've seen a lot of sunrises, as I usually wake up around 5:00 AM, whether I want to or not.

I'm a morning person. Of sorts. I like the quite and still the morning provides. However, don't talk to me. I'm likely to bite your head off.

I'm not sure I can get up for a sunrise...but maybe one of these days I'll just stay up for one. ;)
