First! Furboajerboa no more! I changed my name. To Larry. Larry AF Venable. Oh yeah, and my journal's name changed to colleenAF. No need to do anything. The magic of science has made it all the same, all my friends, all your links. Science ( Read more... )

Science: Now You Know.

I might be interested in the printing press! and the ink and stuff. I am trying to start putting together a studio. my e-mail is jpmfrees [at] aol [dot] com if you want to discuss that further!

As for comic/art blogs, I'd highly recommend ryanpeq. Ryan Pequin is an awesome draftsman and his comics and stories are very good! Ummm... Matt Reidsma reidsrow did a daily journal comic for years and now he does little minis and illustration. And lastly, Tom McHenry preachertom. He wrote and drew a 500 page comic over last summer and it is one of the best things I've read all of last year. He does sporadic comics here and there about a variety of things, but they are all awesome.

Sweeeet! Three new journals to read! Thanks so much! Geez taht Ryan is pretty amazing. I've met Matt and Tom in passing at other shows, so it's good to finally put a face with a comics face. Um...yeah. You know what I mean!

I'll send you an email about the press stuff soon. It's kinda big, but it does come apart and stuff.

Yeah Ryan is practically my hero with those portraits and sketches. Matt and Tom are both dudes I look up to a lot! And yeah I know what you mean about face haha.

Awesome. Yeah, I can't say I'm exactly sure where I'll keep the press, but I can probably make space somewhere!

Eep! So many people have asked for it. I probably should have mentioned before I can't really ship it. Weighs a TON.

Here are two pics to show you how big it is:

Maybe I can try and put it in my carry-on the next time I go to Texas. Again, I mean the press. Not my cheese boob. Besides, now that it's part cheese I kinda love it more.

You guys might just have to find someone excuse to drive to NY and visit!

Hey remember when I had to go to a dinner party instead of Karaoke'ing with you guys and I had a good time at the dinner party but no where NEAR as much fun as I would have had screaming songs with Katie, Matt, and Pat? Yeah...good times....would have happened if I was able to go.

This is the part where I cry again.

Next time you should stay in NY longer! You could have totally come to the hospital with me and Marianne!

Science is so awesome. I use magic, personally, but it's good to learn about other cultures!

I was considering Magic for a while, but the Science folk finally won me over with their wacky acronyms. Pb stands for lead? So funny! Oh those silly scientists!

Also I hope to one day have my house filled with Jiffy Pop.

You name me one magician that can do that!

I can't believe you filled my inbox with that much science. I may now finally realize the error of my ways.

Ok, not a comic, but whatever.
Sorry to hear about your arm... that's totally gonna cramp your style when you go flying over Metropolis at night! Maybe you better ask Wonder Woman where she got her invisible plane?

Science! http://syndicated.livejournal.com/suckitmartha/ now I can read it AND be lazy at the same time. Sweet! Also I'm super excited this blog exists now!

I've been trying this invisible tricycle I found on sale at the Super Hero store, but it just it's cutting it. Maybe I should shell out the cash for the jet.
