So I'm pretty sure my eyeglasses have been kidnapped by the mafia ( Read more... )

Pretty much all of those links were adorable. Robots and tiny, alien-looking jumping mice win every time.

Also, having never seen him before, that Ed dude is seriously cute. Nice work. :)

If only someone would make a robot jerboa then the world may be perfect. I think I may need to go to robot-making school!

Haha thanks! He is quite dreamy. It's awesome when geeks grow up to be hot. They're the best kind!

Alright, well, somebody needs to resuscitate me so I can watch the other videos, because I just died laughing at you cocking your eyebrow at Ed sipping his drink.

Your face was... PERFECT!

I'm so glad you're home, although I wish you were still there with Ed, but I'd rather you be home so I can hear about your adventure. Life is better when I know Colleen is on the same continent.

Haha! That's my favorite part of that first video! I really think we need to make an outtake one of all the times I couldn't keep a straight face, which was pretty much almost every time.

I'm glad I'm home as well. As much as I loved the trip I couldn't imagine being a woman living in japan permanently. Definitely a lot of double standards and you're expected to be boring and normal after you get through those wacky teenage years. Anyplace where the sole female goal is "marrying a salaryman" is not the place for me...though if that meant even more free delicious japanese food every day I might be talked into it.

Let's just wish him back in America! That's a lot more fun to wish.

If I ever need a reminder of how long I sometimes go between posts I can just look at pictures of Samuel and Dixon. I can't get over how big they've gotten. That picture of Samuel helping Jeff build the planter is priceless.

there was one subway sign that made me laugh like a maniac everytime, of course, now I cant find any of the 600 pics I took of it. It was a drawing of a couple sitting in a subway seat enjoying a romantic snack while an old man with a cast on his leg frowned at them mightily.

also this one...

Wait! I know what sign you are talking about. I couldn't figure out what it was telling me not to do other than "do not think very hard about this sign".

Looks like I'll be back there again in the fall. You planning any trips there again soon? How's the bar doing?

You are one of the best things about the internet and I miss creating things for Fluff! Your recent anti-twitter stuff cracks me up, though I must say Cookie's stream is FASCINATING. I can't believe you sneezed and it woke her up! Amazing!

I posted the comic that new icon is from in my most recent LJ post. Figured you'd appreciate it!

This is so cool! (and things like these are always posted when I don't open my LJ for, like, two weeks). Japan looks like a cool place to visit. You and Ed make awesome invisible monster fighters!

I wonder what it's like for someone who doesn't speak a single word of Japanese.

I totally forgot that MoCCA was this weekend. I hope I can find a way to go!

Eric! If there's one thing I miss around here it's more of your posts. It's a much quieter LJ nowadays, but I do so appreciate when I get to see where you've wandered.

Ed is an awesome invisible monster fighter. That's the man reason I date him.

Did you wind up getting to go to MOCCA? The weekend was a total blur for me!

Unfortunately I didn't make it to MoCCA - that weekend was pretty hectic. Next year!

Thanks for the kind words! I have started to post again after a fairly long absence. I'm shooting to average about one per week.
