I am all moved! I friggin love my new place and I have internet again! It's been a month without it at home, and while I can sneak some things at work I was pretty much twitching by the time they hooked it back up. That's literally the longest I've gone without internet since 1993 when my Dad was all "Hey Coll want to get addicted to something your ( Read more... )

I broke our Bose speakers by putting pizza in them when I was little. I don't even understand how I did that, but this is what my parents claim.

Isn't that what BOSE speakers were known for? Their ability to heat up pizza. Geez your parents totally weren't using them right!

Also it's not your fault if the speakers were hungry.

I will take both of these web jobs.

Please make checks available to Joey The Bookie at the deli down by Frankie's sister's house.

You have my email? let's talk. y work schedule has a very big "client from 5 months ago has a verrrrrrry slow check signing pen" size hole in it.

I thought of you but figured these weren't big enough jobs for you. Email is on the way!

And just in case I gave Joey the Bookie an Egg Sandwich to distract him for a bit.

Hmm. Interested #1. But, my schedule is loaded w/ a web-mag re-design for all of July, and some catch-up from June.

However send me an email at: work [at] nadinelessio.com if interested.

I'm good at these things. There is evidence floating around out there, that I can point you to. :)

Luckily this project would REALLY start up in August and go from there on. Want to send me some samples at colleen(dot)venable (at) firstsecondbooks(dot) cooooom? Pick some that you think best showcase your design-y self and anything that may happen to be old timey-eske would be awesome as well!

This is such a happy, positive post, it's easily the most fun thing on my flist in ages.

When I were at school, and we had twice-weekly compulsory music class, whenever the teachers were out of ideas they put Moonwalker on. So I must've seen it 20 times. I for sure Remember the Time.

I've been in a pretty great happy positive mood lately. Hopefully I'm contagious! I'm gonna breathe all over everyone I walk by tomorrow, just in case it works.

Oh man that's so much better than us watching AN AMERICAN TALE over and over, which is I swear what they did to us. I still occasioanlly wake up being scared there are no more cats in america (though I never did mind that idea of the streets being filled with cheese.)

I loved that whole Remember the Time album and era of Michael. So underrated. Makes me want to go buy something gold and shiny right now.

Positivity - get it out there, we can call it Shine Flu.

I've been listening to MJ a lot, obviously, of late, and I concur - Remember the Time, Who Is It?, and the mighty Jam.

Gold and shiny, I think it's a must (breast plate? Wrist guard? Bespoke TV room?) - it's what Michael (and Prince) would want.

I just read Lisa Marie's MySpace blog, after being directed to it by Whitney on Pop Candy, and it's really touching. Not what I expected, at all, no histronics, but grief and regret in simple, measured words.

Great to see you and hear things are going so well!
Go ahead --- do write your MJ post, there's a lot of folks who still need to hear, read and talk.

Aw thanks. Your posts about it have actually been really comforting to me. I promise I'll do a longer post about it. But until I'm ready to really go into my feelings I'll just keep listening to PYT and Doggin' Around on repeat.
