"Making a bag for diamine" sounds like some sort of druggie reference.
Also: good luck with Japanese. I've never known anyone (who is not Japanese) that was actually able to internalize more than just basic crap. Hell, even a guy on my friends list who has lived in Japan for 2 or 3 years, and studied it before that, is still struggling hardcore.
Squirrels are cute as hell. And oddly, their ecological sphere is almost entirely divorced from humans. I mean, just so long as we keep trees around, they'll be there, and usually out of our way.
Unless they run out into the middle of the road and get themselves stuck in your wheel well. Then their ecological sphere and your car's are intimately related.
Actually, I'm planning on trying to get into the Nova teaching program when I graduate so that I can go for a year to Japan and teach English. That's mostly why I'm starting now with the language. Learning the writing systems is the real trick. Otherwise, I don't see it as any harder than French, personally.
