OOoo - Fresh! I am envious of you and your tummy. The great thing about Fresh is that while the other great veggie places in Toronto (King's Café and Vegetarian Haven in particular) make a lot of fake meat substitutes, Fresh's specialty seems to be delicious food that just doesn't happen to have meat in it.

Awesome...I definitely prefer food that doesn't happen to have meat to food that pretends it has meat but falls short in that it is lying to me.

So I'm definitely thinking Tuesday is out, the computer store on campus looked pretty closed for the season when I peeked in last night.

Having said that, Vegetarian Haven's tofu drumsticks are some of my most favourite foods. Right up there with pad thai and palak paneer.

I can wait patiently until January.

Just don't mistake Memoires for an actual... you know... autobiography. or even well researched. for a dude who apparantly has his masters in Japan-ology, the author sure left some gaping holes in his facts that border on racism (Japanese women are just subservient that way...) BUT it is one of my favorite books in that it's a very lazy read. not really a big thinker. good airplane book.

Does your DS take batteries? or do you have to plug it in to charge it? Check if it is dual voltage, because (if i recall correctly) simply having the plug adapter will not be enough.

P.S. there very well could be internet cafes there. i wouldn't worry.

Fluff is good. As long as I don't breeze through it too fast though, I'm trying to make this a one-book trip. It's only a two hour flight though, so I think I'm safe.

I plug my ds in....what else will I have to buy to be able to play it?

I'm fairly certain that there is very little talk of airplanes in Memoirs... Unless it is a Haiku!

Planes fly in the air
But wait! What holds them up now?
Don't ask! Too late. Boom!
