Tour: Silveracre

Jan 21, 2011 21:33

This time, I went crazy and built a village (or as much as I could within the lot size constrain) instead of just the places I need. And I'm very happy about it! :D Has anyone played Harvest Moon before? (My version was Back to Nature.) I played it for years, from 10 to about 16+ years old. And I still get the urge to pull out my dusty Playstation ( Read more... )

Amazing! I felt like I was really there! You're such a great tour guide!

I don't think you're insane...patient. More patient than I am but not insane lol

Really? 8D Thank you, Qui! (Yay!)

Haha, patient, perhaps. Partly because I really enjoy the process of decorating and building. But insane too, because furnishing places that I don't need adds lag to my lots too. :P

I love your little town! Everything about it, even the ugly house! And it's good to see that I'm not the only person that decorates every part of a set, even though they're not being used. I am intrigued about the grave, I have to admit I didn't see it before. D:

And thank you for the link to that animated window hack! I've been casually looking for it for some time now. "Casually" because I thought it would be neat to have, but not for anything in particular.

Hahaha, even the ugly house? *gag* (I have to cringe every time I think about it. XD) Hehe, decorating is just too fun, isn't it? (and so is downloading almost every clutter you see, lol.) Well, the grave isn't part of an exciting story, it just meant that Zaelem's mother has already passed away, haha.

Glad I decided to go dig for it's name from my downloads folder then! I tried searching using MTS2's search box, but it didn't show up. :S

Amazing! I forget that sometimes building on one lot is the best way to go, even in TS3.

Also, I love that you take care and put extra details and effort into building even this little village. It's very inspiring.

Yea, my sets are getting bigger and bigger, haha! But hmm, in TS3, neighbourhood buildings don't get mosaicked/blurred, so why would that be a problem? :)

Oh, it's actually me having fun, haha! But thank you! ^^

Oh it's not that it's a problem in TS3, just that it's a good idea. TS3 sims are easy to pick up and move around, so sometimes building large sets can be helpful/make it easier.

Also, if you're lazy like me and just want to create the illusion without actually having to create the city...

Ooh, yea, there's the picking up sims part. I never dabbled in storytelling in TS3, so I wouldn't know. :P

Hahaha, if you didn't know, my neighbourhood is really messy and doesn't look like a city/country at all. XD

... I was just building a villiage. I decorated the second floors, too. I never know exactly where I'm going to have to shoot, do I?
That place looks soooo much bigger than it is.

You're mad too, high five! XD But true, you never know which extra bits might just get into the picture. ;) And it's always nice to not be restricted.
