Oh, that shot was taken from inside a glass on the bedside table (can you spot it? XD) There wasn't a real coffin, heh. Just an illusion.

Nuuuu, Evelynn will kill you if you do! :P (That girl will jump in front of a train before she lets it hit Chairon.)

No. NO. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.... AGHHH this can't be happening! Ohmygod, ZAELEM! I'm actually crying right now (because your work moves me to tears. Seriously), this is just so sad! -cries-

And Evelynn... I truly pity her. She has to suffer all this abuse and mental torture, in addition with her mental instability, and... ASDKAFJ I wouldn't ever have been able to bear it. She just... aghh, I hope she gets better. I really hope she does and recognizes Kismette as a friend again.

Chairon: YOU. -hisses- YOU LITTLE-

Ahem. Sorry about that. But seriously, if he ever met me, well...

Let's just say things would not go well. For him. :P

All in all, an amazingly beautiful, heartwrenching chapter, with a LOT of drama. And take all the time that you need! :)

*shifty eyes* Um... yes? (Omg you made me gasp in joy! 8D Now you know how sadistic I am, hahaha!) Well... I suppose there would be nothing much worth reading if it was all just rainbows and sparkles? :P

Evelynn... hmm, even if you could pull her away from the fire, she'll leap right back into it without hesitation. She values her life lesser than the chance to be with Chairon, I think. o_o She'd rather die, so there is no use pitying her. (Everybody lives for different things, I guess.)

Hahaha, I can imagine. XD Everyone is waiting to burn him at the stake now.

Thank you so much!! ^^ Aah, you just make me grin every time, Phoenix! Thanks for being so sweet!

Oh hey look I'm not so anonymous anymore. :P

Well, I guess I do know now. And I do have to give you that; stories will be boring without any drama in them. I just really hope Zaelem will be alright... :/

-sigh- I was kind of hoping that wasn't the case. But I guess love (or is it more like obsession?) does crazy things to people...?

And everyone's fighting to be his executioner. Oh boy...

You're welcome! :D And really, I'm just stating the truth; this story really is amazing, with its drama, twists and thrills (and those little sweet moments snuck in- aww! XD).

Ooh, you've started a story! :D Have fun with writing, Phoenix!

Haha, hmm.... *rubs chin* I haven't known of anyone who survived electrical shocks at high voltage before, though. :P

HAHAHA!! See if you can march him to the gallows! XD

Aww, you! X) Thank you!!

I can't believe how heartless Chairon was even when faced with how badly he had hurt Evelyn.

I also just caught up on the last chapter and the last scene broke my heart, there is something universally wrong about seeing Kismette cry :(

But rereading Chapter 31 (to follow up on Mejaine's aging spell) has given me hope that all might not be over for Zaelem just yet ;)

Well, he did regret his actions deeply now. :X I mean, he has actually been feeling really guilty about it and losing sleep over it, from the looks of his dark eye circles. He was just too angry. Blinded by anger (while Evelynn was blinded by love, or perhaps I should say, obsession).

Hahaha! "there is something universally wrong about seeing Kismette cry": actually made me laugh! XD she's just too precious to watch her break apart, huh. ^^

Hmm...? :O What gave you the hope? (I thought I squashed it all out already! Hmph!)

Chairon just seemed, no matter how tired and acknowledging of Evelynn's misery, unable to say he was sorry.

And absolutely, Kismette is all joy and youthful exuberance, even when she's angry or determined I can't help but liken it to a growling puppy XD

Maybe I'm just optimistic, but it was mentioned that Matta Tide could prevent death from hunger. If I hadn't just reread that chapter it wouldn't have occurred to me though!

Oh... that. Yea. :\ I guess he still has a lot to learn about being a man.

Hahahaha!!! A growling puppy! Too adorable to get frightened or angry over. XD

Ooh, but Kismette haven't got even half his powers. :3 She couldn't even do what most healers could, which makes her star a very limited one. (That's pretty good thinking though, I must say! ;))

D:
I feel really sorry for Evelynn, she's been through so much and now this. I know she's the type that kind of brings it on herself, but still. It's an awful way to live.

I vaguely remember you have Chairon up for download right? I'm tempted to download him and make him suffer *evil laughter*

But in all seriousness, that trick with Zaelem was really horrible of him. I just wonder if he's sad because he knows he send him to his death, or because he knows that he doesn't have a chance in hell with Kismette now. (Not that he ever did anymore, but he's the type of person that would think that)

I love the effect you used on the last picture of each segment, I can't really tell why, I just really like it. As always, you did an awesome job on this! <3

And now I'll just go cry in a corner T_T I knew this was coming, but I was stupidly hoping for some kind of miracle.

Good luck with school, have fun and I'l be waiting patiently (lol NOT XD) for the next chapter.

Haha, like a moth to fire, she chooses to burn. I guess it did get too awful to live and she chose to end it after all. :X

LOL hmm okay, but I don't see how that helps Evelynn. :P

Oh, be assured that Chairon is drowning from guilt right now. (Which might be too late anyway, so what use would that be? Hmm...) He kind of has given up on his chances with Kismette ever since he pulled that stunt on his bed, but that still doesn't stop him from feeling bitter about losing. I guess his pride is the thing that prevents him from recovering. :\

Hehe, thank you! ^^ It was a little tricky deciding what effects to use sometimes. I love colours too much to choose black and white most times, even though I think it's actually better, hence the half desaturated pictures. XD

Aww, there there. ^^ (I'm actually sadistically happy for your reaction, haha!)

Thank you! For giving me such kind words all the time and for the luck! (I sure am gonna need it! :P)
