From what christoph told me.. After that adam freeland show at hush.. people were talking about the price. and i posted back asking why lars's shows were always higher priced than alot of the other shows at the club..

Aparantly that struck a nerve with david and he told christoph that i can't play and he doesn't want me playing at the club.. Personally I think it's incredibly petty to ban me over something like that.. I had thought about emailing david to try to work it out.. but if he is going to ban me over something so stupid like that then it's pretty clear that he was looking for a reason to not have me play or doesn't like me or something..

which is pretty sad considering i've been a loyal customer of hush for years.

Brent was telling me last night it also had to do with the fact that i play dnb, as he hates the crowd that dnb brings to the club.

Hmm. If playing out was your only motivation for playing, then that seems a bit silly. Isn't it just something that you enjoy doing? Why don't you keep playing for the fun of it? There are tons of people out there (i think) that never play out, but still stick with it. All i'm saying is that parting with your stash is a big step, and you don't want to regret it down the line. Like you said, you're probably going to have a hard time selling them, so why take so much less than what you paid for them? It's not worth it. Just keep it as a hobby!

Think about it friend.

your probably right.. i dunno.. i just havn't touched them since august...

But i mean.. i do like to play sometimes.. but all the time i played i was always practicing for when i get to play in front of people..

Very little possiblity of gigs has left me with little motivation to really practice.. i mean i play for the odd 10-20 minutes here and there now that i've got lando's decks set up but you're probably right.. i'll prob hold on to them.. just not sink the money into it that i used to.

if you're not screwin you gotta be groovin.

I dunno.

Don't sell your records dude, it'll only bum you out more if nobody buys them all and you have all these lame remnants of your old goals lying around all like "dude, play me" and you'll be all like, "dudes no, Hush hates me" and they'll be like "awh what the fuck" and you'll be like "yeah and nobody bought you so I'm like even less interested in spinning you than I was before" and they'll be like "awh" again.

Do you really really wanna deal with that shit? Naw, son.

u never know what will happen with clubs down the road... it used to only be hush, then for a bit it was hush, jungle room, and deep... maybe something will happen again. maybe plan b will realize top 40 is lame and have dnb twice a week. u never know! and there will always be parties. sunset room even!
