You arent alone, in every different feeling you've mentioned. I can defintely relate to not knowing what you want to do with your life. I have no fucking clue. My major (communications... maybe?) is so broad that it doesnt really help me, plus the field is competitive and lets face it i really dont have that kick ass take charge attitude, deep down. I think we have time though, well I know we have time. Atleast 4 years, so heyy a lot can change in 4 years. Can you think of what u wanted to be when u grew up.. like 4 years ago? I think I wanted to be an actress or like a teacher or something I would never be now. Haha I don't know, everythings always changing. So who says life wont change for you soon? Might get better might get worse. Unfortunately thats the way it goes. But hey life would be boring if we all got what we wanted I guess.
I dont know if that helps at all. im just rambling. The point is, you arent alone in those feelings.
You know I agree with you man. And she's right - I know I want to make video games, but being in Calc right now keeps making me think "Why the fuck do I want to take Computer Science in college?" And then I think about what it would be like if I did something different, and that I might regret doing so just because I thought calc was hard, and ooooh - it's a nightmare inside my head.
Anyway, the point is, I can relate. A lot of us can.
And if you're ever feeling "lonely" you can come by the St. John household any time you'd like - just hop on my bus after school or show up randomly at my door, all my other friends do it. You're always welcome. I can't guarantee you lots of hot sex, which might be a better cure for your loneliness, but then again maybe Brian can....
Oh, there I go again, prostituting my brother. Nasty habit.
Next time something pisses you off or makes you really happy, say it out loud. I'll tell you 'WRITE! NOW!' and suddenly your writer's block will be magically cured.
