It was a year ago I was terrified of leaving. ROTC, school, leaving home and the people I loved. And now I'm back to that same knot in my stomach. This summer threw me a lot of curve balls, but I flatter myself in saying I managed a pretty kickass time despite all of it. I got to go camping, plan random trips to Seattle (!), go to the beach,

i almost caved and created a facebook today to write on your wall, then i smacked myself and realized it's a sad day when you need a ridiculous online website to stay in touch with your bestfriend...although, i'm using a different ridiculous website. regardless, the point is i haven't seccumbed to peer pressure and the unholy powers of facebook, but i'm sure i will soon enough.

i love you and miss you and cannot wait till we are once again reunited and feeling so good
