Thank you, sir. It's been a long time since I tinkered like this. It was fun.

Oh that turned out splendiferously well!
What great imagination you have. I couldn't even imagine it would turn out that way when I saw it in progress.

You're too kind. Thank you. It's not imagination so much as discontent with the way things are handed to us. Someone once said the creative process is basically that of taking two different things which have never before been associated, and combining them.

Just took a look at the other photos. Just a quick comment regarding the "guts". You may want to make some slits in the bottom, sides or back of that box to give those power supplies some ventilation. They can get HOT!, and could potentially cause a problem if not ventilated. You may also want to consider unplugging the unit when not in use, because the transformers will draw electricity even when not in use. Either unplug or install a power wheel switch outside of the box, spliced into the main cord.

Thanks for the analysis!
Yes, I had actually originally planned on drilling some vent holes, though a master power switch hadn't occurred to me. As it turns out, these transformers do not heat up. I just double-checked. I will leave handsets on them for a few hours and check again, but it seems OK. Good general advice though.

Oh and BTW, I did tape up my connections. I just took the picture before doing so because it looked better. :)
