Forgot to mention - if I do manage to get on the Titanic memorial cruise - as is looking increasingly likely - I'll be sailing into NY. Which I can't wait to do, as I haven't been back for a few years and am looking forward to catching up with my mates on that side of the pond (and doing some vintage clothing shopping ( Read more... )

Absolutely! For a weekday it'd have to be DC, but I'm totally up for a weekend trip to NY or pretty much anywhere else on the East Coast. (Assuming, of course, that my job doesn't decide to ship me out to Abidjan in April--which it might.)

Same here minus the Abidjan part *g*. Weekend, NY can work, but weekday, would have to be DC.

Aaaah, mid-late April! Another narrow miss! I'm hoping to hit The States again next spring (even though at this point I don't know exactly where I'll be staying for how long) and go in and out via NY, but, alas, too early for that. Perhaps I'll catch you in the UK sometime.

Well, the date I have to be back is April 10, so a chance, yes, definitely! There is nothing at all solid yet; perhaps I'll not transatlantise myself before summer after all and thus be more flexible about coming to the UK in spring.

It's hard to predict the specifics of schedule this early on, but I'd absolutely love to. NYC is nicer for me but seeing you again would be well worth a weekend run to DC.

NY would be so much fun :) I'll get the details up as soon as it all starts to lock in. I also need to start priotising things...like looking up vintage clothing shops...
