I've rewritten this comment like 10 times because I want to be able to express just how perfect this is, and how much I love it, but I really don't think words exist to do that. Because really, this is perfect, and I love it. I mean, it's a little bit ridiculous how amazing this is, how Britta and Jeff are so very Jeff and Britta, and I think I said that in my comment part 1, but it bears repeating.
Basically, this is wonderful, and it is wonderful because it is them, and that is because you are so true to them, and I love it quite a bit. Aaaand, I await part 3, anxiously.
This story is amazing! LOVE the title! I must admit that I was not expecting that violence in there, but I think it added a really interesting depth to the story cuz we got to see how Britta is affected by something like that. And those little moments of comfort from Jeff are beautiful. Nothing like leaving us on a cliffhanger with a kiss! Your dialogue is perfect for them as are Shirley's precautionary text messages. Please update soon. I can't wait for more! :)
Thank you for your feedback! (And glad you like the title, I think it's pretty clear that both Jeff and Britta kind of grew up on their own/in the wild). Part three is in the works.
I seriously love how your write these two, and you have their voices DOWN. It's sort of ridiculous. Great work. I feel a little bad that someone had to die in order to get Jeff and Britta in this situation, but luckily it's just a fictional person.
I think the only part of the story that took me a little out of it was when Britta's mother called. There didn't seem to be a ton of reporters around (Britta was just assuming that some people in the area were from the press, rather than actually witnessing someone reporting on the situation) and , so it seemed a little bit of a stretch that Britta's mother would know about the goings-on of Greendale, especially from the other side of the continent. Hopefully that makes sense and doesn't offend you!
I do love this story and your writing, and I cannot wait to read more from you.
Thank you for your comments! And good point about Britta's mother--that's from some sloppy editing on my part, originally the gang violence was a bit more drastic than what ended up in the finished story and I never went back and changed everything as I should've.
I really love this story. I think it's pretty rare that someone can write characters from a comedic show and still keep them in character in more serious situations. You pulled it off perfectly!

I have no idea where this story is going next but I have faith that wherever Jeff and Britta go, it will be exciting!
