I loved the moment with Laura's dogtags. So sweet. And Laura's memories - I'm loving getting these tiny glimpses of her past, because this is the kind of thing we never really got much of with canon!Laura.
If a group consisting of three men and three women of various ages possess four blankets, and the group is constituted of one stepmother and her stepson, the stepson’s female best friend/potential love interest, one twelve-year old child, one misanthropic man, and one superstar athlete who is interested in aforementioned female best friend, which are the two least awkward sleeping pairs that might result? Alternately, how long before someone dies tragically? Discuss.

The Sphinx is a twist! I'm liking your version of the Games very much :D

The bit with the dog tags made me smile and I love Laura's thoughts back to Bill.

(I haven't been pleased with other portrayals of teenaged Kara either, but you won me over with her as well.)
“How about a ride?” Sam suddenly asks Cally with a grin that covers most of the doubt still lingering on his face. He is putting himself in danger with this offer: at best she slows him down, at worst she decides to slash his throat with a hidden knife or attack his eyes with her fingers.
*sniffles* Sammy!
“Can’t say I have a plan to get all of her limbs out,” Cottle snipes, fumbling for a cigarette.
Heeeeeee, Cottle.
