This was such a fabulous surprise! I was all pissy about having nothing to do while waiting for an open washer and suddenly this pops up on my flist. \o/

The slowness is killing me, but it's so very them. Bill's so painfully sweet about Laura's struggles, and I'm glad you went there with this. Loved the line about Billy not knowing anything about women--classic.

The worst part about an update is having to wait for the next update, but you guys always make the wait worth it. Rock on, ladies! Thank you for making my night! :)

So glad you're still reading! We're still writing! Just...other things, too, you know? Also trying to hold down jobs and school and be fabulous young ladies, so the task is a mighty one. BUT WE WILL PREVAIL!

Thanks so much for commenting on Laura's difficulties. In the first draft, I had written a much more magical, great sexytimes scene. Then I was all "This is probably not realistic. I cannot hand wave Laura's abuse/PTSD that much." So I'm glad you felt it worked.

Completely understand the whole other things problem! I have no idea how you find the time to write as much as you do. My impatience = the highest of compliments! :)

I hate to deny Laura happy things, but having her not react this way would have been a bit too perfect and an insult to the amazing backstory you've written. Plus, I have no doubt that Laura does have magical, great sexytimes in her near future. Bill ftw!

Oh, and the "one step forward, two steps back" line is the perfect description of their canon relationship. The slowness killed me then too, but man was it worth it.

Interesting is, that I started to read this fic because of A/R relationship. But now I can´t have enough of all the kids and their banter (particullary Billy...sooooooo cute) in this interlude part :)

The scenes between Laura and Bill are really beautiful. Bill just proves, that he is the BBE in every single universe :D
