I'm adoring this fic. It ran the gamut on my emotions, too - going from incredibly hot to omg! engaged! to the emotional ending. Beautifully done. This 'verse is fantastic.

Well, color me fascinated. As usual, I'm jumping into the middle, but wow...it's all so clear and vibrant. The dangerous ground of Billy's parentage (and he's just so adorable and wise!), and Laura's reactions...then the Games references and sadness--that flowed so naturally that I "got" this was a place that held games a minute before consciously thinking "Oh, there's hunger games material".

I hope that makes sense :-)

Her wistfulness over the red-haired little girl was wrenching and made me hope that Lee as well as Zak will be good sons to her.

Aw, loved this. Your stuff is so heart-warming, even when it's rough. I haven't been following this series because I've never read the Hunger Games, but I was looking for a treat tonight and I thought I'd give it a try. I'll have to catch up over winter break. :) :)
