Yesterday I left the sorting room, and while I was filling up the baby washer with either pillowcases or tablecloths I hear Claire saying to 17 year old David:

"Humpty Dumpty is an egg."
(a pause as she lets her words take hold in his brain)
"Humpty Dumpty is not a man, Humpty Dumpty is an egg."

So as of late I've been going to bed like before 11 every night. It's really wigging me out. On Saturday people played Scrabble, but instead of playing along, I abandoned my friends and sought out my bed. I long for the day when I will never have to sleep ( Read more... )

Christine and I went to Wyoming today, and it was pretty much amazing. The story and pictures will have to wait until tomorrow.

Let me tell you a little something.

I have never in my life looked so forward to a nap.

Today's 4:00-6:30 is going to be the greatest 2 and a half hours of my entire life.

Last night in Denver, while I was waiting for Christine, I got really tired. So I drove to the gas station for a diet coke...but then I thought, "what the heck? I'll throw a little caution to the wind, I'm tired." So I bought a Red Bull in its stead.

And let me tell ya, those suckers give you wings.
