To Zombies, With Love

I recently discovered that I've developed a...rather unusual...reaction towards zombies.

Spirit Week was held at my school a few weeks ago and each grade was given a hallway to decorate and a theme to follow. The juniors had the theme "Horror Movies". All the walls of their hallway were covered with various painted scenes and dialogue from famous ( Read more... )

You and me both man. Thriller Bark is filled with intentional monster cliches that the Straw Hats kinda redirect...I still love Luffy taming Cerberus or pushing zombies back into the ground (No wait, not zombies, injured old guys). It's kinda hard to take any of the cliches seriously after that XD

If you want to rekindle the more horror-aspects of zombification though, I suggest reading Max Brooks' Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z if you haven't already. Normally horror books don't terrify me, but even those managed to freak me out when I seriously thought about the ramifications of everything in them. :)

Thanks for the book recommendations! It's been a while since I've read any scary scary books. I mostly read suspense or thrillers. As you can tell, I like action. :D
