I leave the Waiting Place

I am SO glad that I keep an eye on the One Piece wiki, because I found out that Volume 60 will not be released in the US next March, like I thought.

It’s coming out a whole two months earlier, in January instead.

I am so ridiculously pleased about this that it's not even funny -spoilers for post-Whitebeard War- )

That's kinda neat that you managed to find Chinese volumes. That's one thing I wish I could do..speak/read another language. But I'm pretty terrible with'em no matter how hard I try, so I have a feeling that won't ever actually happen for me.

I've avoided the Viz translations for years, honestly...by the time I got into One Piece seriously there were something like 30+ volumes out, and I'm one of those people that has to get a whole set or nothing at all, so I've never bothered to purchase. Plus, 'Zolo' really irritates me on a profound level...I mean yeah, the l/r translation is forgivable normally, but considering Zoro's name is clearly inspired by Zorro, that seems like one translation that's kinda obvious >>; But you do have a point, that's a very compact volume, it's probably worth having all by itself XD

I like full sets too, they just feel more complete. But this time, I think I'll make an exception since there's now 60+ volumes released and more coming in the near future. :P

I agree, the whole Zoro/Zolo thing irks me too. When I read the Viz volumes, I try to overlook that, but it's hard since the name just sticks out like a sore thumb. Viz even edited that colorspread from the Water 7 arc so the names fit the translations, for both Zoro and Sogeking! >:O But it's unavoidable, and my wanting for Volume 60 outweighs my annoyance at the less-than-perfect translations.
