I had to reread this chapter because I kept double-taking the first time around. There is so much stuff in here; Odacchi totally made my day with this.
Luffy vs eight-year-old. Gee, I wonder who would win; that’s a tough one. Speaking of Momonosuke, I would have preferred it if he wasn’t a total perv like his dad, but damn, he’s so adorable and cuddly and I want to see more of him.
Is Law’s map bloodstained? I’m already rather worried about what happened to the Heart Pirates and this is doing nothing to assuage my fears.
I LOVE “TRANSFER CAESAR” TEAM. Usopp and Caesar are going to have so much fun listening to Robin and Law going on and on about morbid things and doom and gloom.
Dressrosa is awesome! I’m kinda confused about the whole “passionate women” thing (although it does explain why Baby 5 was all ready to kill Doflamingo over the issue of her boyfriend even though she obviously respects and admires Dofla). But the talking, walking, and breathing toys? SUGOI!
THIS. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS?
This is my favorite panel from the chapter, and one of my favorite panels ever. BECAUSE BEARDS + MUSTACHES + GLASSES = BEST DISGUISES EVER.
I’ve always had a thing for Sanji in glasses or shades and he looks pretty damn fine in that mustache and goatee. I did expect that mustache to be just a bit curlier, you know?
Zoro looks like an aged, wannabe Mafia boss. No further comment, except that mustache looks waaay too big for his face. I imagine it to be brown and bushy.
Luffy reeeeally reminds me of someone from Dragon Ball, which is strange because I’ve never read/watched Dragon Ball before. I think it’s the long beard, but I’m not sure. It could also be that sunflower-print shirt of his, which really adds to the whole “old-man” feel about him. It’s also slightly scary to think that Luffy of all people could pull off a disguise. Any disguise, really.
FRANKY WINS ALL THE PRIZES FOR BEING ABLE TO ROCK A FLUFFY BEARD WITH PIPPI-LONGSTALKING BRAIDS. ALL THE PRIZES, FRANKY. (That beard better be blue.)
Kinemon is the only one who looks normal. Somehow I’m not surprised.
And apparently "collecting intel" = "eat lots." Sounds legit.
Ooh, strong blind old swordsman! Who can rip holes in buildings that lead to nowhere! Fun!
This chapter is so exciting; if the rest of the arc progresses like this, it’s going to be better than even Punk Hazard, which was pretty crazy too. The mysteries are really dog-piling on top of each other now!
