I received your e-mail requesting Wednesday, October 20 off for the day due to an event you wanted to attend. Unfortunately that happpens to be the day that Nicole requested off for an eye appointment. Under these circumstances I need you to work your scheduled shift. Because we are short on Rec III's, I cannot find a replacement for you, let alone her. However, if a situation like this comes up again, I will make sure that I can find an alternative for your position. I'm sorry you cannot participate in the concert that was planned for you. Hopefully next time your plans will work out according to schedule.

I don't like her in the first place, but now it's even worse.
