School makes me feel stupid.
Seriously, school makes me feel so inadequate and unintelligent sometimes. I mean, I suppose that the possibility of my peers having a hard time with the material is there, but sometimes I feel so alone. However, today, so many things clicked in the lab it's not even funny. ADPIE

Excuse me while I scream. Kittens are. Driving. Me. NUTS right now. Mocha has this way of getting up on her hind legs, with her front paws on something and scratching up and down. And Kona, he's just so aggressive to my backpack. Yeah, it's a The North Face pack, but there's only so much claw that thing can take.

A look of joy, and horror.
We went to my parent's house last night (since in all technicality, it's Sunday morning...), and along with a delicious dessert and a bottle of wine, we brought ourselves and my mom's birthday gift.

Can you believe that I actually set foot in San Diego's premier outlet center, complete with a Coach store, only to walk away with nothing for myself? I wish I were kidding.

In case any of you read me freaking out on twitter and weren't sure why, it's because Mocha's spaying procedure was yesterday. She did great, and was freaked out but excited to be home last night. It's kind of funny what working for a week with two days off will do to a person who's used to working 12 hour shifts with 4 days off in a row. Or, for someone like me, working full-time hours after almost a year of working 24 hours a week. I love bringing that money in, but I haven't had time for virtually anything. You know you're in SoCal in the rain when...
...you live 5 minutes away from a fire station, and you've been listening to fire trucks go racing through the streets all night. I can't imagine there being any fires during a rain storm. Perhaps someone at the nearby assisted living had a heart attack. Or a cat got stuck in a tree. But I doubt it.
