You're right. Love doesn't give up, people do. 
People give up when they are sick of being let down. 
Sick of being hurt by someone who supposedly "loves" them.

Don't try and act like what I did  showed some kind of weakness.
I let you go so that you could no longer hurt me.
It took alot of strength to do that.

I recently ended a friendship with someone and he posted something in his blog about me and it really pissed me off. He's acting like I gave up on him but the truth is he gave up on me a long time ago.
