Playin with my new iPod :D
I'm gonna do that whole put-it-on-shuffle-for-first-twenty-songs-and-write-comment-about-each-one thing. Maybe if anyone reads it they can say how much of a cool taste in music I have...
...
1) Our Lady Peace-- In Repair It's their old stuff, which is a hell of a lot better. Very catchy and down-to-earth tones.
2) Audioslave--Cochise It's loud and rily, with an extremely catchy beat and there's some screaming in there too.
3) Blindside--Sleepwalking The guitar riffs in the background are really smooth, and the vocals flow along nicely. I like the image of sleepwalking too, no joke.
4) The New Radicals--Get What You Give Nothing but middle-school nostalgia.
5) Slayer--Burn in Hell I've acutally never listened to this song the whole way through before... I think I'll do it now. Not bad...
6) Train--She's on Fire-- Catchy.... also a nostalgia-song.
7) Muse--Apocalypse Please I love the lyrics to this song, and the pleading wonder of the singer's voice. I've always been intrigued by the end of the world, and the insturmentals are so unique.
8) Seether--Fine Again It's a gloomy song that makes me feel better about the world when I'm depressed.
9) Ricky Martin+Christina Agulera--Nobody Wants to Be Lonely My ultimate guilty pleasure song and also nostalgic, I listened to this all the time in fifth grade. I'm a sucker for romance songs.
10) Sisters of Mercy--Black Planet A good chill-out song. Vocals deep and mysterious.
11) The Haunted--One Kill Wonder Nice intense screams, anger, and amazing guitar skills. Fast-paced songs for those bad moods are amazing.
12) Slag Boom Van Loon--Fallen Angels Entering... Nice calming but creepy insturmental I like to listen to.
13) Slipknot--Purity The intense lyrics and tone that are all calm and complex and just spring out like that make this song amazing. Also, it's by Slipknot... who can argue with that?
14) Destroyer of Senses-- Shadows Fall Catchy... although I think I've heard this song a wee bit too much.
15) Muse--Blackout It has cellos in the background, and the vocals are so incredibly beautiful along with the slow moving but meaningful lyrics.
16) Fall of Troy--Ghostship Part Four The riffs are so crazy on this song, and the screaming although sometimes distorted rhythm shows a hidden talent.
17) Hootie and the Blowfish--Hold My Hand It's a calming song with a smooth rhythm and another song of the old days I used to listen to. Nice to sing to.
18) 777--- Nautilis It's a short, techno insturmental song that's fun to groove around to. For lack of a better phrase.
19) Dennis Leary--Cows With Guns An inside-joke song from one of my summer trips.
20) The Beatles--Revolution Number Nine I first used this song for my reaserch paper on Charles Manson, and then I listened to it again and I thought the weird insturmental collage was sort of cool. So I saved it.
The end! Now let's see who cares.
