Jacobovici has faced criticism much tougher than Pfann's academic critique. The film [The Lost Tomb of Jesus] has been termed "archeo-porn," and Jacobovici has been accused of "pimping the Bible.

Those accusations were definitely the highlights of the evening's amusing events of maimed archeology and fabricated church history.

I went to Walmart on Sunday to do a quick food shopping and have never seen so many middle-aged men wandering aimlessly around with their buggies.  They looked absolutely lost.  They looked like they had just buried their mother or man's best friend.  All in the name of Christmas.

I spent 7 hours at Gram preparing tomorrow's dinner - cutting up vegetables for stuffing, making a zillion pumpkin pies (including the crust), and peeling potatoes.  I'm waiting for Mom to come home so we can start preparing tomorrow morning's Thanksgiving "dinner" with my Dad's parents, Aunt and Uncle.
