♥ Your name: Tress ♥ # of donation this month: 2 ♥ Character: Sakamoto Mio ♥ Series: Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke ♥ Name suggestions: Grey Wolf ♥ Reason for names: Minna's familiar is a grey wolf. ♥ Other Suggestions: Reference this donation for Strike Witches suggestions. Minna is the only witch who could be a red deck, so it would be great if she could be one! ♥ Link to donation: Here (also includes Mio's)
Just wanted to point out really quick (especially because I had to repost because I typed it wrong myself at first xD) - It should be "Grey" not "Gray" as listed in the upcoming decks right now. First to match the Colors spelling, but also because the story (and Minna's origin) is in Europe!
I purposely changed it to gray because I'm trying to go by all US spellings (judgement -> judgment, grey -> gray, and well, colours -> colors) for uniformity (if there are "grey" spellings around by players, that's fine, and uh, if there are "grey" spellings around by me, that's a mistake). Matching Colors spelling means using "gray"! Using "grey" might be more appropriate for her origins... but that contradicts other spellings, and despite origins, I would generally, as a rule, still use US spellings to refer to characters.
Oops, I was wrong about you using "grey" on the site. I remember I had to keep correcting myself when I was working on the database, but I guess given a few weeks, I had ingrained it into my subconscious after all ;; I wonder how I will spell that color the next time I come across it now lol... All right, I concede to the official Colors spelling!
I hope there aren't any grey spellings around, like on the rules page or elsewhere... I am particularly confused about gray/grey! I started with "grey" before we officially opened last year (it was up maybe for a few days?) until I actually went and looked it up and realized that the US version is "gray"... but yeah, I'm trying to stick with "gray" for everything as much as possible!
Yup, the e gets dropped. I remember this one quite clearly since I encounter the word a lot in series I follow. Same applies for other words with that spelling pattern... like argument. arguement -> argument. Sometimes I don't know if I'm mixing up American and British spellings... I always confuse dialogue/dialog! I like the look of dialogue a lot better. I think we mostly use dialogue... even though other words with the same spelling pattern are spelled without the ue, like catalog.

I don't even know what I've been typing.
Have I even spelled that word recently?
My mind is blown.
