The hallway is not normally a place you'll find Saïx sitting, but he's just come back from "there" again. The reaction this time is much different from those of the past. There's that evil smile, eyes showing that the gears are turning in his head, but he seems almost content with his back up against the wall ( Read more... )

Having encountered Ion yesterday and learned all sorts of unpleasant things from him, then spent the night resting in one of the rooms he indicated to her, Anise has been spending today exploring this bizarre new place and tinkering around with her NaNo. She's discovered the tattoo on the back of her hand as well--it's hard not to, with how it itches on the skin--but that's a separate matter for now, because she's walking down the hallway coincidentally just as Saïx is giving his premonition.

She stops and gives him a wary look. Creepy. Who's this freak job? she wonders. He doesn't seem to be talking to her, but who else is there around? Anise glances around herself just in case, but unless they're someplace she can't quite see from here, it looks like she's the only one around. On the other hand, whoever this stranger is, he looks--and sounds!--like he's a few candles short of a birthday cake. The twin scars over his face don't exactly help ( ... )

The chuckling stops, his attention has now snapped towards the passing person who disturbed his thoughts with words. Why was she staring at him like that? He knows why, but he doesn't really care.

"Excuse me? Can I help you?"

Oh dammit, of course he'd have to notice her. Why couldn't she have just kept her big mouth shut! Anise grimaces, then, much unwillingly, gives Saïx another flat stare. She can't be any older than the Keyblade Master--possibly even younger--so it might strike the Nobody as slightly odd how openly distrusting that look she gives him is. Might, or might not.

"Mister, you're the one who looks like he needs help," Anise tells him bluntly, still keeping her distance, still moving.

Anyone milling around who would have said nothing would have not received any words from him. He would have made note of who passed, but nothing more, ever the observant.

Saïx has seen a look like that before. He knows what it's supposed to mean, but quelling such distrust isn't something he's good at, nor is he going to try. He's still looking back at her though with an unwavering calm stare, she's no threat to him. With malicious intentions set for someone else, she'll be spared.

"And why do I look like I need help? I'm not the one judging others by appearances now am I?"

[Just ... walking by. With an umbrella. ... That has keys on it.]

You know it's raining, right?

[And he comes out of that trance and just stares, a brow lifting at the sight of that horrible umbrella. What's next hearts?]

That umbrella is... blinding. I don't want to know where you picked that monstrosity up.

Yes I realize its raining. I'm entirely soaked. Demyx couldn't have done a better job.

... Shut up.

[Sneers shortly, withdrawing and just letting the rain pour on him.]

I don't think it's Demyx, somehow.

[The rain's back and rolling off his face, his hair's flat, and going back to his room isn't an option. Wonderful.]

Demyx would be incapable of doing this much work. He'd grow bored with a prank like this all too quickly.
