Goodbye, LJ!

May 27, 2013 21:08

So, it's official! After three years of operating at Livejournal, we (and you, considering your support under our previous post) have decided to move to Dreamwidth. We hope that it means more new players and less bugs and technical problems in the future.

The move begins at JUNE 1ST. For the next 2-3 weeks, most of the posts will be linked here ( Read more... )

Hey ummm about the post on plurk where I was saying that I didn't really like the idea of Colors Quiz -- the reason why I did not really want to comment it here is because I have no idea if it's just my dumb gut feeling that could end up being entirely wrong (quite likely...?) or something else ( ... )

That's perfectly fine! You know, every criticism, even harsh, can be valuable. I'm really open to all of your feedback, because nothing helps as much when it comes to improving stuff. For example, my ideas the Battle of the Bands were heavily shaped by all players' opinions from the previous League events. I know that many people in fandom-related communities somehow tend to be fragile and feel hurt by criticism, but in my case you can totally blast all your cannons at me!

As I said earlier, most of the questions will be rather easy, some will be a bit harder, but I think that all of them will be answerable with a bit of a search.

About automated games, Aru said several times that she'd like to introduce them someday, and the September overhaul may be a good time for that. Though I think that there won't be tons of them.

Automated games can get boring if that's all we ever play on a TCG, but if ever we integrate a few, I think it'd be really great to have a half-half variety because that way, on weeks we're a bit more busy, we could still get a few cards in easily without too much searching, and when we're eager for challenge, we can take the usual games.

Anyways good luck!! I'll make sure to comment if I have any opinions then ^^
For the meantime, I'll go gather some game ideas.... hehe

I have a friend wanting to join today, where should she join at? Should she post on the Dreamwidth page or Livejournal join page? Or does it matter? She has her card post set up already at Dreamwidth. Thanks!

If she has an LJ account, she could comment here while already linking here DW account and card post, but if she doesn't have one I think it's fine to comment at DW even though we haven't officially moved yet.
