I’m wondering where you find the stock photos and what about copyright on them? I have just found it hard to find good pictures that you are allowed to use (e.g. creative commons) and for some strange reason my conscience is much stricter where it comes to stock photo compared to fandom. It feels like using screencaps and promotional pictures is basically a way of promoting the fandom which benefits the actors/producers/etc while many of the stock photos I have found are more of someone’s private artwork, which I guess they wouldn’t mind getting promoted but I never see the name of the photographer with stock icons. What do you think about this? (and to be clear - no, this is not critique of you or anyone else who makes stock icons :) , I’m just curious and would love to find out where to find pictures to make my own stock icons)
