well.. for.. one, two, three, four, and six.. i had to rest my camera on a steady surface.. the floor.. the stage.. speaker.. whatever.. the floor ones were tricky... because i had to press the shutter.. [without looking at the people i was shooting.. so i wouldn't freak them out or make them move] ... but babysit it until the shutter closed.
the others.. i either let the camera hang on my neck... and tried to stay as still as possible. and.. yeah.. several tries. a lot of motion, blurring.. obviously.. but yeah.. it just takes patience.
it wasn't electric! it was an acoustic.. regular violin.. with a mic. the sound was amazing.. really rich.. organic sounding.. he sounded classically trained... he did some little blue grass-type things, too. gorgeous. ooohhh and violin bow on xylophones. love.
damn computer is sucking my life (and gpa) away same with the gamecube.. got it back yesterday and stayed up til FOUR finishing tony hawk's underground...
Nice photos. Really nice colors. And the photos seem to capture the mood of a live pretty well. Also, The Album Leaf is good listening. (Especially Vermillion, haha)
[And yeah, I don't really know you, heh. But I tend to take at peek at friends of friends' ljs and sometimes just random people's. So it's not like I'm stalking you or anything, heh. Hope you don't mind me commenting, though.. If you do just let me know. >_>]

thanks.. it took a lot of patience to get enough light for the disco ball, one..
i think it's my favourite, though.

the violinist, especially.

that looks like a cool violin--electric, but still a regular size
