So, after much deliberation and um-ing and ah-ing I finally decided to take the plunge and open a community for my graphics, attached to my personal journal talipuu.
Why the change?
#1. Having two different accounts is driving me insane. Two different sets of friends, two flists, two log-ins; it's like leading a double-life, and quite frankly I find one difficult enough as it is, heh.
#2. Ties into the reason above, I've been friended by some awesome people on this journal but I barely get to talk to them as I'm trying to keep it a professional graphics journal. I want to mingle and chatter damnit! xD
#3. It's just easier, simple as. Plus what with leaving college soon I'm pretty much going to be updating every other day and creating all kinds of things, so I really wanted to make it a little more official looking. And it's probably going to be a lot easier for you guys just to watch a comm rather than having to friend me, having someone you don't know on your flist when you're talking about personal issues can be a bit intrusive.
So, what's happening then?
#1. This journal will not be deleted, or at least not for a long while as yet, until I am properly settled in, everything is all back to normal and everyone knows where I am. The only thing I'm doing is locking a few old posts.
#2. Credit: obviously those of you using my icons/textures/whatever have got this account credited, honestly don't worry about changing it. I only ask for credit so people can find my stuff, and like I said above this journal will still be open so visitors can simply redirect themselves. No problemo.
#3. In regards to my current flist, if you receive a friends request from either talipuu or mirrorskies you'll know it's me ^__^
#4. So, stating the obvious here, but if you like my graphics and want to follow me over please do! I would love that! Things are still under construction and whatnot, but I should get the ball rolling soon.
