"Go ask Alice -- when she's ten feet TALLLLLLL!"
Gerard is sprawled on the floor, listening to Bert's (uncanny) Grace Slick impersonation and laughing so much his stomach hurts. The pitch and the vibrato are perfect, although the dancing -- if random spinning and arm-flailing can be dancing -- is pure Stevie Nicks. Then he reaches for Gerard, pulling him to his feet and kissing his mouth open just enough to slide a sugar tab between his lips.
As the colours start to slide off the walls, Gerard thinks he might be in love with Bert.
