I love, love, love that the vampire diaries is back. I’m so glad of streams and downloads else I wouldn’t be able to watch it yet and I’d be a very unhappy Brit! It starts airing in the UK next month I believe

I think I agree with pretty much everything you've said, adore Katherine, hate that Bonnie keeps getting in the way, wish they hadn't hurt Damon twice :'( and am unsure about Caroline being vampy. I like her, but as a human :/

I like Caroline too much as a human too. Plus I don’t want her vampirism to affect her and Matt too much (don’t see how it can’t though). I like them as a couple.

Lovely picspam! I agree with your thoughts too. I don't think you're grasping at straws where Elena's concerned. The main problem when it comes to her feelings for Damon is that she doesn't want to be like Katherine. She doesn't want to play the Salvatores against each other; that not who she is. Right now she's committed to Stefan (for some reason. What's so great about him anyway?), so she's trying to establish boundaries with Damon. And we all know how well Damon does with boundaries. ;P She'll come around eventually.

I think that too. She’s very conscious of Katherine and not turning into her, doing what she’s done in the past. She’s said it before that she’s not her. (I’m still trying to see what’s so great about Stefan, maybe it’s his sensitivity?)

Hope she does. There’s a long way to go, I doubt she can really hate Damon for too long.

Love your thoughts on it. I really hope Elena can get past Damon trying to kill Jeremy, that was a biggie. Katherine is a badass in the extreme. Loved the dynamic between her and Stefan, too yummy.
Bonnie's about on my last nerve with the whole "I know who I am now" bit. I liked Bonnie last year 'til she started acting like such a fucking know it all. She better not fry Damon next week.
Not sure what to think about Vamp!Caroline, I love her and hope the writers don't kill her off.
The last pic of Damon is so dad, he just looks completely stricken. *is sad*

Yeah it was a biggy and it was so surprising, showed a more unhinged and scary side to Damon. I really liked he Katherine/Stefan scenes too. She sparky and fun and she makes Stefan seem more fun too.

Bonnie just needs to take it down a notch. She’d better not toast Damon just because she’s angry, that makes her no different to him. It would be a bit hypocritical.

I like Caroline human so her as a vampire doesn’t really sit well. I don’t really want it to turn into another Vickie thing and have her killed off.

That whole scene was heartbreaking, but it was actually one of my most favourites. Poor Damon :(

i agree pretty much 100% on everything you've said, especially the bonnie part. far too much of her. and her + damon. also her attitude. i said so myself, one more comment on, "i know how to take down a vamp," and i will write her off completely. i'm glad katherine took her down a notch, and made her realise she's not as hardcore as she thinks she is.

Maybe the new Bonnie will quieten down as the season goes on. She’s already annoying me more this season than she did overall last season. The persistent vampire threats aren’t really that scary, just irritating.

i kind of understood her last season, what with her grams dying for nothing, and all that. but now it's just hatehatehate with some really annoying threats thrown in the mix :/
