So for picspammy / everywhere people are doing "Year-End" lists. I decided to do one too! Just for fun. And as to not get TOO ahead of myself I limited it to 2 things per my 5 categories (TV Shows, Movies, Music, Real Life, Comms). this show is amazing. i love the characters, the relationships, the seemingly ridiculous plots that manage to work, and the cast. i haven't found a single episode dull or uninteresting yet. i'm sad that this show has gotten no award nominations yet it's at the top of everyone's favorite list. if you arn't watching community you should start. i promise you won't be disappointed!

i watched this all because of omigualy's flailing and i was not let down. this show is just pure crack at times and i love that it makes no apologies for that.

movie ♣ scott pilgrim vs. the world
originally i did not want to see this movie. and then when i went to visit my boyfriend and friends all they could do was talk about it. and listen to metric's 'black sheep' that was in the movie. and then i went and saw it. and basked in the awesomeness that was it. who knew michael cera could actually act?

favorite moment: "thank you julie" idk there was just something so funny about it

i know this was released in 2009 but i didn't see it until 2010 when a snowy night in with friends gave me the opportunity to watch it. this was one of the most unexpected funny movies of the year. i really didn't think i was going to love it but i did! i mean they killed bill murray! and twinkies! :D

i first heard about them during my weekend of awesomeness in maine because my bestfriends and boyfriend started to get into them. then i heard Little Lion Man on the radio and instantly fell in love. The Cave is one of my favorite songs ever.

They cover popular songs and make them BETTER. I absolutely hate KPerry's "Teenage Dream" but Boyce Avenue's version is absolutely lovely. They cover a few other songs and even mash-up a few! For the last month or so it's been them and Mumford and Sons on my grooveshark playlist.

real life ♣ Friends (both in RL and Online)
I have to be the luckiest person ever. No seriously. I have some of the best people in my life, both in person and in real life and online. In real life I have Joe (who also doubles as my boyfriend but none the less one of my best friends), Kara, Christy, Zack, Johnny, Ray, Ben, Sara and Erika. I've known Zack the longest (sophomore year and only by 2 weeks longer than Kara and Christy haha), And Sara and Erika the least longest (met them beginning of my Senior Year at Salve circa September 2009) but these people are my family. I've never been good at keeping friendships (mostly due to my sucktastic contacting skills) but somehow we all manage to keep in touch and meet up every month even with everyone being so scattered. These people have made 2010 and the end of college so much fun :)
As for online, I've met so many great people through either land comms or skype chat that I probably wouldn't have ever met because as you know I don't comment too much. Mandi, Ani, Janey, Vai, Jodie, Cerri, Angie, Audi, Ali, Ally, Tracey, Tash, Liz, Luppy (and omg there are so many of you! lol) chatting with you all has been awesome (though at times so hectic). The number of chat rooms we had to leave because there were so many comments everything stopped loading was worth it. I loved waking up sometimes signing on to skype and seeing 2000+ messages. YOU ARE ALL INSANE AND I LOVE YOU FOR IT. Thank you for making the internets such an awesome place!
real life ♣ DMB at Madison Square Garden Nov 12th with John Butler Trio
Since I started dating Joe, every summer we go to both nights of DMB at the Meadows in Connecticut. This summer I was in the Caribbean with family for the DMB concerts but thankfully they did a small winter tour! It was an amazing concert and I'm so glad I got to see them. Words can't really express how much fun I had wandering the city with Joe, Johnny and Ray and then the train ride home getting offered drugs by the sketichest man alive. :D Either way this definitely made it to my favorite things of 2010

one of the best land communities out there. i'm sad to have lost interest in the fandom itself but i met so many great people there. and even though Team Ricardo never won, you guys are always going to be first in my heart. We won first in spirit and dedication. :D
