i used to have an old crappy version of photoshop on my computer, but once i got os x tiger, i couldn't run the program. there's a program called graphic converter that might be of help. look it up in applications. it's not photoshop at all, but you could try.

I can't think of anything other than downloading it, illegal perhaps but at least the photos will look better.

are you familiar with bitorrent? search for photoshop on a site like isohunt.com or torrentz.com or even torrentspy.com [there's LOADS more search sites, these ones are my favorites] and then use a program called azureus [there's also loads more programs... azureus is the easiest and best in my opinion] to open the torrent and download the program =)

you can edit photos in iPhoto which should have came on your computer. import your photos into there and you can do contrast, alter brightness, etc. if you want more than those simple things, download something from www.downloads.com. i'm actually investing in photoshop and it should be here december 7. it's really cheap though because my brother bought it for me from iran. but try what i said and if you have any problems or questions, tell me. i love my mac sososoos much.
