I think it may be too late to join a league somewhere. I always register in late February or early March, and the games start mid March to early April..........
Community centres are your first bet....and note.....look for the BEER LEAGUES that consist of mostly men, because its more fun.
The community centre by (oh my goodness, I have forgotten names of places in Victoria....)

anyways, by that school at james, no something bay...OAK Bay! aha! The community centre beside Oak bay Highschool is where I registered almost every year I played, and they are always needing girls as the teams must have 4 girls playing.
Even though its late, you may still get onto a team desperately needing girls, or you could be a back up person (in this case you wont have to pay for registration, just give the team your number and they can call you if they are short a girl) but its more fun to be on a team.
Sorry, Ive typed this real fast, I must get to work in 11 minutes. Hope it made sense.
