Don't know how everyone's January went but I feel like it really went by fast. The highlights were definitely the days when my twin nieces visited and we played games: card games and board games.
January has been eventful in a very quiet way. Won't disclose much but my brother finally got himself a job and is moving south of England soon - congrats to him.
Funny, I had quite a few things I probably wanted to type but now that I'm in front of the screen -blank-
Speaking of something, recently I started to check out Medium and Bones. Guess, I wanted to have something playing in the background when I'm indulging in my hobbies. Ended up enjoying both although I think Medium has drastically changed in tone since or half way through Season 4. Bones just the same around the same season number.
Btw, one of my disk drives is FULL! Last year I got myself a 3TB hard-drive which is now down to 1.something GB free space left. And that is without even any of my Arashi files (which I haven't transferred yet).
Belated Happy Birthday to Sakurai Sho! May this year look upon him well.
Looking at the clock (which is currently 1: 40 a.m.) I'm coming to the realization that I have a limit when it comes to how well my brain works. Around this hour, my words are beginning to fail me and my recall-ability (when in times like this, writing/ typing) is below 50%. So, I'm not going to force my tired-wants-to-relax-ole' mind. Just that, it snowed for two or three days here; consecutively, and during mornings! It's been, I think, 1 or 2 years since it snowed in England. Was going to take photos but then, something uncommon happened, the sun came out often soon after. And it isn't even around Summer yet.
I also started a digital drawing of Ohno Satoshi two weeks (I think) prior to Sakurai's birthday. Planned to finish the first part at least within 4 weeks but I decided to challenge myself and use a couple of bright colours to paint Ohno. For some reason, it's a bit of an obstacle.
In my brain, I keep remembering my other artistic friends' opinions about my drawings: 'they're good but they're stiff/ lifeless to look at'. So, I'm trying to find the middle ground between 'free' and 'perfect'.
Anyways, I've decided to document it. This is the recap:
