There is ALWAYS a cold snap or ice storm in Texas right at Thanksgiving. Moving dinner at the last minute seems...odd. Maybe she wants to help you avoid traffic?

Nary a word was said about traffic. The specific reason I was given was that it will be "too cold" tomorrow... even though it's supposed to be in the upper 50s tomorrow.
