Wanting stuff is great if you're rich.

Wealthy people want more than they can afford, too. A better way to become rich is to stop wanting stuff.

Also, try borrowing your friends' equipment! You'll find that you don't -really- need the majority of it. :)

What you really need is Sony C-800G, a 16 channel sidecar with 1073's, a Quad G5 with a cinema screen running a ProTools HD3 system, $50,000 worth of acoustic treatments, the Neve 16 channel A/D interface, a Pultec EQ, a Fairchild compressor, Mogami cables, a V-Drum set to use as controllers, a Korg Triton, a KAOS pad, Reason, FruityLoops, a Marshall JCM 800, a keytar, a Moog Voyager, a Prophet 5, a Dr. Z Prescription, a 4x12 cabinet, a 2x12 cabinet, and about 1000 more square feet.

And a partridge in a pear tree.

I have Reason! I don't need Fruity Loops. But the rest, yes, I'll take. Even the partridge.
