I had always wanted to get a tattoo for the longest time but could never think of a design to get, since, y'know, it's kinda permanent. I finally came across something I really dug on a vintage T, so I turned it into a design for my arm.
1. Yes, it hurt, but not all that bad. They used a 9-needle gun for the linework, and a 3-needle gun for the filling in of the circles, leaves, and headstock. Which one hurt the most? Yeah, the 3-needle gun.
2. No, this was not a split decision, no, it did not have anything to do with my recent troubles.
3. This took 4 hours of sitting to complete.
4. Yes, it still hurts, feels like a sunburn. I'd do it again.
5. Pics below. The third one is showing the only pain I felt, coloring the circles on the back of the arm.
6. Big thanks to Diadexxus, who came along for the ride, sat with me for most of the entire tattoo, got me drinks, and gave me someone to talk to. 4 hours is a long time!
